Jgirl was founded around a stack of folded Kente, brought home from Bonwire. We believed wax prints, mudcloth and embroidered Dashiki deserved an atelier of their own — modern, considered, and deeply rooted.

Heritage
Every fabric is sourced from artisans who have practiced their craft across generations — Kente weavers in Ghana, Ankara printers in Nigeria, Bògòlanfini painters in Mali.

Our patterns are drafted in-house by tailors who understand both the weight of tradition and the lines of contemporary dress.
